Leagues

Rising Star Leagues are semi-competitive (some scores and results recorded). Each week, players will have one night of practice and one day of games (max 2 hours per week). The first several weeks are practice only, no games. Practice is led by the head coach, with all teams practicing together. Games are refereed/overseen by the head coach, with volunteer coaches coaching each team. Games are COACH PITCH. All children participate in every game. Each child receives a team uniform and a trophy at the session-end Award Ceremony.

Baseball players need to bring their own glove, outdoor shoes to play in and a water bottle. We provide the balls, bases, bats, helmets, and other equipment.

COACHING INFORMATION:

We need volunteer coaches!! Don't worry about not knowing the best drills: The head coach will provide all of the expert advise you and your players need. But we do need extra coaches to focus in on smaller groups of kids: the head coach can't be everywhere. If you are interested in helping to coach, please indicate that on your registration form so that the head coach can communicate with you in advance. Thanks for partnering with Naz Rec!
